M&Ms Don't Work Well In A Cake

Quote of the day: “Anything that disproves God, bring it on,”-Noel Gallagher

I was going to have Katherine and Anna and Eryn over today, because we never get together other than in school, but Katherine had to see a play and Eryn had a family Bar-B-Q. And not that I don't love Anna, but she had already been over this weekend, so no one came over. My family went to that Nick's Pasta Place with my Grandparents (the ones that are still alive). I got yummmmmmy margarita pizza (I LOVE the tomatoes on it!) and tiramisu. =3

My sea monkeys are getting so BIG! They are swimming around doing happy flips. They are so cute!

Tomorrow is Natalie's 16th Birthday!!! Friday we were talking about how good a white cake with M&Ms mixed in the batter and strewn about on the top would taste, so I made her one. It's funny, because the M&Ms slogan is "Melt in your mouth, not in your hand!" But the batter was cold, and the M&Ms outer coating started to come off =/ So then the batter got a weird hue, so I tried to die the batter blue, then I decided I'd do purple. But it ended up being a greyish colour because of the M&Ms and the food colouring mixed together. It just goes to show that M&Ms don't work in a cake. So when we took it out of the oven and it had cooled, it wouldn't come out of the pan. Turns out the M&Ms had melted into the pan, and glued the cake in. So, yeah, after we pried it out, I iced it and stuck the M&Ms on. I wrote 16! in M&Ms, and then put a smiley, and then a border of M&Ms. :)

So right, the quote is something Noel said about a book.

"Noel Loves The God Delusion By Richard Dawkins
The hard-living Oasis star Noel Gallagher has revealed to the New Musical Express that he has read Richard Dawkins’ book The God Delusion and loved it “Anything that disproves God, bring it on,” he is quoted as saying." Click on this post's title to go to the website that this is from.
