Quote of the day: "'Georgia, you're a young woman now [What was I before, a young horse?]'"
I HATE TAKS!!! Tuesday was so looooong TAKS-wise. After the math TAKS I went to Bio and we drew little pictures. During lunch.....actually, I can't remember. Just that Diana needed to borrow my English book. Then we went to third period and Monica and Rohini and I just sat around and I was told a story by Monica.
In Drama and Munson lectured us about not working. Anna pointed out that he was never there, so we weren't used to being on-task. He got all shirty and harumphy, but he knew Anna was telling the truth.
I forgot to say that the day before, Mr. Wolf said that he wasn't going to count the essay part of the Scarlet letter test. he was like, "Some of them were ok, others I was disappointed by." Then he was quiet for a second and then he was like, "Actually, to tell you the truth, I just lost them." So that was that.
After school Anna and I were talking about having a sleep-over with Eryn and Katherine. So we went home and we ended up having it at Katherine's house, though Anna ended up not being able to come. We watched Moulin Rouge and played truth or truth. Katherine was quietly crying at the end of the movie, and I was loudly sobbing. No matter how many times I watch that movie it gets to me =( We ended up staying up until about 1:30. At one point I was looking at this little corked up bottle that said K. Rose on it (Katherine Rose). Her dad had given it to her, and he said that he had gotten it from an old sea sailor. I asked her if the cork came out, and she said that it was sealed shut. However, I wanted to get the cork out because I saw some weird liquid in the bottle. Before long, I had the cork out. I sniffed the bottle and it smelled like alcohol. Katherine was surprise and said, "Oh well, there isn't anything in it." She tipped it to the side over her hand to show that nothing was there, and of course, this whiteish-clear liquid came out, and she screamed—twice, loudly. I told her to wipe it on me, and I—being wonderfully smart—licked my hand, and sure enough, it was alcohol. She freaked out and couldn't believe her dad had given her alcohol. It was a bit gross, because all that was there were the lees of the alcohol.
We woke up at nine and got ready to go. I felt bad, so I took some Tylenol right when I woke up. Katherine interviewed me for TPP. She was doing an article on someone who is obsessed with a celebrity. Who better than me and Noel? We had bagels and went to school at 11. By then I felt terrible. I ended up going to the nurse after my test in Italian. But my parents are in Las Vegas, so the lady staying with us couldn't get me for an hour. So I went and sat with everyone at lunch and then went to Geometry, where Michael insisted that I had a hangover, which was obviously impossible (unless whatever was in that bottle last night was unusually strong...) So we did a crossword puzzle (the whole time I felt like I was dying) and then my mom's friend got there and I went home. Leaving my bag with all of my cosmetics in my math class. I really hope no one steals it (except my teacher, who will keep it safe). So I went home and felt miserable all day.
It got better around dinner time, and after I fixed the internet, I tried to sign onto AIM. Turns out that AOL suspended my screen name for some reason, and I can't get it back. So. I got a new one. Its oasIS my life :)
This morning I felt better, for about two seconds. I took Tylenol as soon as I woke up, but that wasn't soon enough. I couldn't even get ready because I felt so bad. So I called Natalie, and told her not to come pick me up. Well, if she had picked me up, I would have been fine in about twenty minutes. I'm so mad that I didn't just go to school, because now I have to make up the TAKS tomorrow AND I still don't have my cosmetics!!!!! I doubt any of my friends went to get it (not their fault; they don't know where it is, I guess). So I'm waiting for everyone to get home. *sigh*
The sea monkey's are ten days old today!! I fed them for the second time. I put in their tiny little spoonful of food into the water. The sea monkeys swooped happily towards the food, and all of a sudden their backs had a little red line down it. That line was the food in their gut. Even the little ones enjoyed it. Some of the little ones got so full their swimming slowed down and they had to rest for a while on the bottom. I love them, so cute!
I know that everyone who reads this (like four people, but w/e) missed me dearly =3 Sorry about being ill. DAMN YOU PENGUINS!!!! Also, the quote is from the first of the Georgia Nicholson books,
